Monitor Return/Satisfaction Policy ?

I understand there is a timeframe in which returns are accepted. Is it 15 days, 30days?

Anyway is there a restocking fee if the display is returned properly...ie all undamaged and with all packing material.

The return policy seems on the website seems to indicate that a 15% restocking fee would apply.

I'm considerring purchasing the 3007wfp now that the price has dropped but am worried about some posts on color uniformity concerns.

Thx,
Frank

21 days here in the US.  If you just don't like it, and want to send it back, Dell may slap you with a 15% restocking fee.  The word MAY is printed on the warranty and return site.   Tell them that you want to get the 3007 instead and they may wave the restocking fee.  No guarantee

Yea that's what I say MAY...which to me means WILL. I see alot of posts about people who've tried certain monitors and didn't like them returnning them. I was hoping to find out from them if they had to pay.

I don't own a Dell now at all. I simply want a 30". HP's is a 30 day return with no questions asked...few hundred dollars more..maybe better panel ??? Maybe not to early to tell.

I returned my 2007WFP, trading up to a 2407WFP. I didn't face a restocking fee and got excellent service. Dell sent a UPS truck out for the 2007WFP (no charge) and (your mileage may vary on this one) upgraded my shipping on the new display from free ground to standard overnight --no charge. It let me have my new display before the Thanksgiving weekend. Quite nice of them.

If you get a 3007 and it has poor color uniformity, you can take advantage of the 21-day satisfaction guarantee to get it replaced. Customer service is pretty willing to please.
