Anything with an electric motor running nearby? My mom had one of those smoke filters about 3 feet away from the monitor. The monitor shimmered every time the fan was running.
I am below the kitchen, and the dishwasher makes a 70 hz refresh screen wiggle, and the airconditioner bothers it too. Try 75 or 85 hz refresh, if supported.
This is CyberDan, again. I just want to thank the persons who replied to my post. I actually got another dell tech., and we connected my new computer to my husband's monitor-------the screen didn't shimmer (the monitor was in the same location as my new one). So "January" (tech's name) suggested that I get a another new monitor and return the one I have now.

This is CyberDan, again. I just want to thank the persons who replied to my post.
