Monitor will not come on?

Question

I got back from being off and one of our employees monitors would not come on.  It is a rather new monitor.  It's about 1 1/2 years old.  I tried another monitor on the computer and it works fine.  I have also tried the monitor on other computers and it does not work.  The only thing is does is the light on front of the monitor just blinks green.  It is a flat screen monitor.  Does anyone have any idea what could cause this.  It was on a surge protector/battery backup.   Thanks

The monitor might be bad, but please tell us the monitor model number first, than someone might be able to assist

On the monitor it says 173FPf.  Hope this helps.  It is a 17 inch flat panel that came with our Dominsion 8400.   Thanks

I just had this same thing happen. What did you do about your problem. I am angry because i have only had it for a very short time. I can't get through to Dell since I'm out of warranty. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
