Monitor will not display full options
I have a 17" dell crt monitor. This should display 1600x1200 but it doesn't. If I go into display monitor options it only goes to 1200x900.
It also is listed as a PnP device and has generic MS drivers. It's an e773c montor. Where are the drivers for it? This is on my brand new 8400 with the omega 4.09 drivers. Even before I installed the omegas it still didnt show 1600x1200 as a display mode.
I can uncheck "dont show modes this monitor will not display" and force it to 1600x1200 but that can't be right. The only time a device usully shows as a PnP device is when it doesn't have the right drivers installed.
I have gone to downloads and there is a driver for this monitor but it will not install just for the monitor. I can't see a driver that it downloads at all. The monitor shows it has some MS driver from 2001.
This is the driver I tried to download..but how do I install it:
