Monitor won't turn on

Question

Starting about one month ago, my monitor has not turned on. The computer will, but the monitor will stay blank. When I turn the monitor off and then on, it shows, 'USB Power Saving Mode'. I don't remember putting it into power saving mode, but I think that's what's stopping it from turning on. I was able to turn it on once and that's it. I have plugged and unplugged everything imaginable. It's a Dimension 8300...if that helps. Any suggestions?

Have you tried running the monitor self test? Or try it on another system. This can also be your video card has died and since the monitor sees no input it thinks it is in ps mode
