So your plugging the addon speakers green jack into the green audio out jack on your computer? Disconnect it and plug some headphones into that same green audio out jack on your computer. Do you hear audio?

Yes when i plug my headphones into my computer i hear audio.

The one i have is the AS501 XH839. Do you recommend me trying to take it apart, i mean it could just be a lose cable? There is no warrenty left on it.
