please go into safe mode and see if you still have input lag.. i assume its your mouse. if safe mode there is no input lag its probably your video card.
I just received my 2407 yesterday, and it's an A02 also. It's got vertical banding in all image modes, but no horizontal banding. What I don't understand is why I can see a post of a photo by someone of an A03 with no banding and the gradient in that picture looks fine on my monitor. But the original test image shows banding.
I tried as you suggested and I can still feel it. Its slight but its definitely there. The 6ms is gray-to-gray and the 16ms is black-to-white so it would make sense that some people would still feel it. I doubt its my video card or any other component as I have a very high end system. My video card is a 7800GT, and while thats not really the best anymore its still adequate in most games.
I've decided to return this. I've tried twice now to move onto LCD's and both times its been met with amazment and then dissapointment at these issues. I really cant be fiddling around with this any longer so I'm just going to wait until a very very low ms panel comes out (preferably 24 inch widescreen).
To the above poster, you probably dont see them on user pictures as the camera doesnt capture all 200/whatever hue's of RGB perfectly.
