Native Resolution on E228WFP won't go

Question

Hey everyone I've just got this 22inch wide display and can't seem to figure out how to get the resolution of 1680x1050. I've installed the drivers R137889.zip but still won't go past 1280x1024. My computer is an Optiplex GX270 running windows 2000 sp4. Any ideas or tricks to get this to work would be great. thanks

Just installed Intel 82865G Graphics Controller and I think that fixed it.

The solution: go to http://entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm and download Powerstrip,install and you can have 1680x1050 resolution

My Optiplex GX270 supported 1680x1050 until I restarted the computer. What gives? I've re-installed the video driver from Dell's web site. I even installed Powerstrip as recommended, but couldn't figure out how to re-enabled 1680x1050. Is there any sort of tutorial anywhere?

My 22" widescreen LCD is pretty much useless at this point. It WAS working great!!!
