However, note that the new monitor has less brightness and supports less colors. Will this monitor replace the U2410 or will the U2410 survive as the higher-end brother?
Although both are in the Ultrasharp line, the U2412M is not in the same class as the high end U2410. So no, it is not the replacement for the U2410. The U2410 is our Professional model while the U2412M is our Mainstream model. You can compare the specifications here and here.
