I am having the same issue - my system has slowed down considerably since connecting the monitor, but I have an Inspiron 530S which doesn't have the DVI connection (as far as I can see). I updated the driver for the Radeon 2400 card and have 4GB RAM, Windows 7. Apart from the slow speed the display isn't as good as I'd hoped when I bought the monitor (is this because I am using the VGA connection)??
* Power the PC and monitor off * The USB mouse and keyboard should be plugged into USB ports on the PC, not the monitor * Disconnect all other USB devices from the monitor * Remove any Media Cards from the monitor Media Card Reader (if your monitor has one) * Power on the monitor, then the PC * Time the boot
If still slow, disconnect the monitor USB uplink cable from the PC. Restart and time the boot.

* To what ports on the PC and video card is the U2410 connected?
* What USB devices are plugged into the U2410?
