Do you have a flat panel monitor or an old school one?  And what kind of video card do you have?

I'm having the very same problem with my computer.  I had to reload XP and now my web pages are too big or too small, depending on my resolution settings.  But more frustrating is that the images I view on the Internet are not as sharp as they were before I reloaded XP (see my post a few pages back "Resolution not the same as before").  So far I haven't found anyone who knows how to fix this problem.  If you figure it out please post it.  There are lots of other people out there who are having this problem, too.  What did Dell load on the computers at the factory that made the resolution so good and why can't we get it to look like that again after reloading XP at home?
