There is no "tool". There is no difference between using VGA and DVI. They both max to 1600x900 60Hz.
* Turn the PC and out of warranty 7 year old P2011H off * Disconnect ALL cabling from the P2011H including power cable * Press and hold in the power button for 8 seconds * Reconnect the power cable to the P2011H * Reconnect the DVI cable to both * Turn P2011H on, then the PC. What happens?
I tried what was suggested and it "enter in power saving mode" what is strange is that I have another monitor (same year and model) and it works with the same cable and pc any other advice? regards
