P2214H, DDM not detected
Hi,
I would like to get some help. I'm using Dell P2214H with HP envy d066tu which has HDMI port. I've installed DDM and it says "Please connect a supported Dell Monitor". I'm using HDMI to VGA connector.
I found conflicting information on DDM/P2214H documentation.
Here it says P2214H is supported.
But here it does not listed P2214H model?
I've done all basic TS so far and this is really frustrating. Thinking of buying HDMI to DVI cable but would like to get some help on this forum hopefully someone here can help me out. Thank you so much in advance.

The Envy has Intel graphics, so it is very likely that all you need to do is update the display driver to the latest one from Intel here.

Previously I've updated my Intel graphic driver through device manager but it doesn't work. Just now I've tried through the link that you've provided but still getting the same error message. Any other suggestion that I may try?

1. Go into the P2214H monitor OSD and make sure DDC/CI is on/enabled
2. Make sure the physical cable connection is secure, and that there is nothing between the HDMI output on the Envy and the HDMI input on the P2214H (no adapters, converters, KVM switches, etc)
3. Open Device Manager, and make sure two "Generic PnP Monitors" are listed (one for the Envy screen and one is for the P2214H) under "Monitors"; under "Display adapters", go to the Intel graphics properties page and make sure the driver version is 27.20.100.8336 (latest as of today)
4. If you still have problems, hold down the SHIFT key and right-click on the DDM system tray icon, select "Save diagnostic report" from the popup menu and post it
(I'm assuming you can't use DisplayPort.)

Try right clicking the Intel GPU driver executable and Run as administrator.
The article just omitted the P2214H. We can see on the main P2214H driver page and in the documentation page that DDM (Dell Display Manager) is listed.
