my Mistake, it DP cable and the monitor is not detected with my DP cable connected. The DP cable I have is USBc output at the other end and is connected to a docking station.
So the MacBook is connected to an unknown dock. From that dock is a USB-C port. You are then connecting a USB-C to DP cable to the P2314H DP in port?
Is there a PC there with DP out port to test a straight DP to DP cable into the P2314H DP in port? This would be to verify if the P2314H DP in port is working or not.

The P2314H does not have HDMI in port. It has =
