P2417h - Colors Problem
I have bought Del P2417h monitor 3 days ago for my mac pro and I noticed it has a bad color quality and the colors doesn't appear as it should look maybe some yellowish. I tried many things but nothing help:
-tried factory reset and the same problem
-tried different cables (VGA-DP) which included in package and also tried HDMI and the same result
-tried on different device (Laptop Lenovo z50-70) powered by Windows 10 and the same result
-tried to use custom color in preset mode but the colors still very bad also tried to adjust brightness/contrast but this isn't related to my problem.
here is some images comparing my dell monitor with my old (HP ZR2240w) monitor
aslo I took some screens from BID system and here's the result:
what should I do I am very disappointed

From a warranty perspective, there is nothing that Dell can do because this monitor passes our manufacturer specifications for color performance and overall uniformity. The only way to get a closer match is to purchase monitor calibration hardware and software.

I want to know is the problem from my unit or this is the real colors from P2417h ?
for hardware calibration it is very expensive in our country is there any way to get the "icc" profile or every monitor has its own customization of colors ?

Every monitor has unique color settings. There is not a generic ICC that fits all. They are all calibrated at the factory but the values will be different.

Yes, better, unknown. But, the reseller may refuse an exchange and take the same stance that Dell does, that this monitor passes our manufacturer specifications for color performance and overall uniformity.

but the colors isn't good actually the monitor doesn't show the real colors what can I do about this ? is the only way to purchase a hardware calibration device which is more expensive than the monitor itself? no other solution??
