P2422H, ThinkPad E14 HDMI, not connecting?
I have Lenovo ThinkPad E14 laptop having HDMI 1.4. I am not able to connect that with P2422H monitor using HDMI cable.
As mentioned in manual, I try to switch monitor HDMI Input from 2.0 to HDMI 1.4 but no such option getting to change it [By pressing button on HDMI option for 10 sec].
Is there any reason or any alternate way to connect with P2422H?

@Harshal Solao The P2422H is only a 1080p display. That doesn't even require HDMI 1.4. Even the original HDMI 1.0 specification supported 1080p. HDMI 1.4 is used for 1440p 60 Hz and 4K 30 Hz, and HDMI 2.0 is used for 4K 60 Hz. If the display has an HDMI 1.4 input, it's probably because that's the minimum standard supported by the chipsets on the market for products being made today. But even if the display had an HDMI 2.0 input, you wouldn't have to manually set it to HDMI 1.4 mode just to allow it to work with an HDMI 1.4 laptop. Most modern TVs have HDMI 2.0 inputs, but it's still possible to plug older HDMI source devices into them without making any special configuration changes.
Are you sure you're using a basic HDMI to HDMI cable instead of an HDMI to DisplayPort cable? The HDMI and DisplayPort connectors look somewhat similar, but you cannot use an HDMI to DisplayPort cable to connect an HDMI source to a DisplayPort input. Otherwise, are you sure the display is set to its HDMI input? Does Windows Display Settings recognize that a display is attached even if it is not putting an image on the display? The more specific you can be about what you're doing and what's going on, the more likely people here will be able to help.

I do not see any HDMI 2.0 to HDMI 1.4 instructions in the online P2422H User's Guide? I do not see any mention of HDMI 2.0? I see five references to HDMI 1.4.
