P2715Q, need to unplug HDMI to change Input Source?
This P2715Q is connected to my PC using mDP. Sometimes I connect my notebook to the P2715Q using HDMI. The problem is when I disconnect the notebook, but let the HDMI cable stay plugged in (it's not easy to keep connecting and disconnecting it from the monitor, as it is behind it), and power on my desktop, the P2715Q won't allow me to change input source to mDP. I have to unplug the HDMI cable from the P2715Q. It is annoying having to move the P2715Q every time to access the HDMI port and reconnect the HDMI cable. Does anybody knows a solution for this issue?

The 2014 released P2715Q does not have an Input Source "auto detect" function. The Input Source stays with the one you previously checked =
Change your usage model =
Power on the Desktop, switch to mDP via the P2715Q Input Source button, THEN disconnect the HDMI cable from the Laptop.

Hello, thanks for the answer. I tried this, sometimes it works, sometimes does not. Unfortunately, the monitor is not under warranty anymore.
