P2719HC, cannot access OSD menu

Hi all,

I have 4 front buttons and a power button:

1. The power button does not respond to a press, it doesn't function as a power button, it only lights up if the screen is on.

2. The other 4 buttons when press only switch on/off the monitor

3. I've tried unplugging the usb-c and holding pressed all buttons 1 by 1 or 20+ seconds, but it doesn't do a reset.

4. As a result I cannot access the OSD menu.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this one?

maartenvdv,

A monitor Menu OSD can only be accessed if the P2419HC is getting an active video signal from the PC. Connect the P2419HC to a PC using the provided USB Type-C cable (C to C). Turn both on. When you can see the Windows desktop on the P2419HC, press the P2419HC Menu OSD button. What happens?

Hi Jesse,

I have tried this many times with the monitor and laptop connected through USB Type-C. Both on. But the front buttons only shut down the screen, no OSD is appearing? What else? This behavior was there from when I bought it. Is it a failure?

Regards,

Maarten
