P3223DE, no audio input jack
Hey everyone I recently purchased the P3223DE USB-C monitor to connect my MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, it does not have an audio input jack to connect my desktop speakers.
So instead of one USB-C cable into my MacBook, I then have to connect the audio input cord into my MacBook to use the speakers.
Incredibly small inconvenience but I am really trying to condense all the cords and have a clutter free desktop.
Is there some type of dock, converter to plug into the P3223DE using an HDMI input or something and then plug the audio cord into that so the one USB-C cable going into the MacBook can also power the speakers?

The P3223DE does not have any audio functionality built into it. An added dock would not change this restriction. Perhaps if you found an Apple supported dock that provided an audio out jack?
MacBook Pro --> USB-C dock
USB-C dock audio out jack --> speakers
USB-C dock DP out to P3223DE DP in

USB-C dock HDMI out to P3223DE HDMI in
