pink lines running vertically on screen

I have an Inspiron 9300 laptop less than 2yrs old.  Last week a vertical pink line appeared running across the entire screen.  Now last night a second vertical pink line appeared.  The lines are constant appearing as soon as the computer is started and across all open windows.  Is there anything I can do to fix this or is this the beginning of the end for the monitor?
