I just re-installed everything (format c: and away I went). My power saver used to work fine but now the monitor won't come back on when I hit a key or move the mouse.
You can try going into the power management in the control panel and set to turn off monitor to never and turn off harddrive to whatever time you like.
How do you disable the power management if the screen won't stay on? I am having the same trouble and I cannot access anything since the monitor says that it is in Power Saver mode. Touching the keyboard and/or mouse does nothing.

Can you open the system and reseat the video card in the slot then, reconnect the monitor, power back up and see if the monitor will work?
