Problem w/ 1702FP

It's not that old, but somehow it has died on me. I didn't think a monitor could really die but the power is on and nothing shows up. The 1/2 Lights flicker back and forth and nothing shows up. Was wondering if anyone had some ideas.

I have the 1703 FP, and learned that Dells cable sometimes go bad.  Can you unplug than replug the cable again to see if you get anything  ?  Dell branded monitors have a three year warranty, or at least mine has, so call Dell tech support up and see if you can either fix the problem or get a refurbished monitor under your warranty, if you still are covered.

I'm wanting to either call or email dell about my problem, but I'm having huge issues finding my service tag. It's not on the back of the monitor, all there is is a COA. Is there a number i can call dell w/o finding my service tag?

Stand alone monitors do not have a service tag.  If you bought a complete system with the monitor, than you use the service tag for the system.  Stand alone purchases of a monitor, you would use a customer number or order number only.  You cannot use e-mail nor online support for this.  You have to Call Dell tech support
