Problem with audio output on 2408WFP
I have this monitor for about 2 weeks now. When I play DVD using the HDMI output, there is no audio coming out from the power speaker that I plug into the audio output port on the monitor.
Does anyone has similar issue? What do I need to resolve this issue? I am trying to use this monitor to watch DVD as well.

What device is connected to the other end of the HDMI cable?

It's DVD player to Dell Monitor.

After a few days tinkering with the audio. I think I might have solved this issue.
Turn off and turn back on the monitor with the DVD player playing seems to solve the issue. The other way is to turn off and turn back on the DVD player with the monitor on seems to sovle the issue as well.

Interesting, so a reset on either end brings the audio back.
