problem with dvi on 1704 fpv!!
The monitor works fine when used on analog, but when I try to use it on dvi, All I get is that yellow monitor light up. It never turns green or loads the screen. Please help!! thanks!!!
I just uninstalled and reintsllled the drivers and now it won't the beggining dell things or cp loading but it will load the xp log on screen. What is going on ahh help me!!!

I have the same problem with my new 2405FP LCD. I beleive I have a work arround but will be contacting Dell right after this reply. Heres the fix: remove the dvi cable from the lcd, wait for the "color probe" to start seaching for the dvi signal, reconnect dvi cable. If you have a laptop you may have to go one step further and press your "shift f7" or whatever function key initializes the external VGA port.
This is definately a bug and it happens every time I have to remove my dvi connection.
