Try borrowing another monitor, hook to your PC.  If the image is good, your monitor is bad and hopefully under warranty.   If the image is still bad, then you may have a videocard problem.

thank you for your reply. the problem is not my moniter, i found out. i feel much better now that i wont have to replace it. now i just have to get this problem fixed. ;)

Good, not the monitor.  Maybe try a new videocard driver software.  What kind of videocard do you have?
