If you just got it, time to call dell and complain, you have a very short window of time to get it exchanged

How long do you get to exchange a monitor if something's wrong w/ it? I just ordered a XPS 630i, w/ the E248WFP monitor.

As long as you have warranty, a defective monitor can be exchanged.

* Please post some pictures of this issue
* List the monitor model, PPID number, video card, video card port connected to the monitor, and the operating system
* Notate what troubleshooting you have attempted

* Press the monitor OSD Menu button
* Press minus to move to Display Settings
* Press the monitor OSD Menu button
* Press minus to move to Display Info
* Press the monitor OSD Menu button

* Press the OSD Menu button on the front of the monitor
* Press minus to move to Factory Reset
* Press the OSD Menu button
* Press minus to move to All Settings
* Press the OSD Menu button
