Chris,

Right now I am using it in S-Video mode because it actually looks halfway decent.  I went into the display settings and the only place you can select RGB over the other is under AV MULTI OUT.  When I do that the screen goes blank until 30 seconds pass and it says it cannot display in that mode.  The best I can get it is selecting Component -> 1080i or 720p.  Both work, however unplugging 2 of the component cables does nothing for or against the picture.  It appears only one channel input is working.  The color is all pink and there are lines.  It is barely readable to get to the display options.  Trying RGB just did not work.  I called Dell tech support and they sounded like the component input was messed up, but they did not really know and could not find a number to transfer me to.  They told me to call to exchange it.  Everything else seems to be great with the monitor though, and I intend to use HDMI to DVI cable to get 1080p out of it soon.  Just want the component to work right!

Let me know if there is anything I could try!

Thanks.

Have you tried another device and hooked that up through component?

By doing that, you will be able to isolate the problem (ie. it's the monitor OR it's the PS3).

Yep,

I hooked the PS3 up to my TV via the same component cables and they work as expected.  Everything is good except when I try to use the 2407.

I'm having the same issue with my 2407 A04.

When I first got my monitor, I hooked up my PS2 to it via component and was able to crank it up to 480p, 720p, and 1080i, and it displayed fine (Well, as fine as you could expect. The image quality wasn't very good, but it wasn't anything unexpected, given the less than glowing reviews of that input).

I actually ended up not using that input for a few weeks, when I hooked up my Xbox to it, and boom, I got the "Out of range signal" message on my monitor, and thought maybe it was the Xbox or my cables at fault, but then noticed the PS2 was exhibiting the same issues.

When I forced my consoles into 480p or higher, I got a signal, but it ended up being like this:

My camera isn't great, so it's a bit hard to tell, but the basic concept is that there are pink and white splotches swimming all over the screen.

This monitor is less than a month old, and I'm really reluctant to exchange it for fear of getting an A03 or worse.

I have this monitor revision A04 and would like to know if I am able to plug in a playstation 3 and have it work correctly, I have read that in earlier revisions there was a problem with graphics not looking correct with hdmi to dvi cables.

Also is there a similer problem with the xbox 360, how well does this work.

So my question is  this fixed in A04, Thaks in advanced.
