Questions about 2007wfp

Hello, I have been looking at the 2007wfp and had a few questions:
1. If you have a standalone dvd player connected through composite or s video, and you turn off the dvd player, will the monitor enter into a sleep mode automatically? (I was thinking of using this display as a bedroom television, but if i have to get up and manually turn off the display this would not work.):smileyvery-happy:
2. will the sound bar work with other things such as an xbox or dvd player?
3. Could somebody please post some pics of this monitor connected to windows media center?
Thanks in advance to somebody who will help me out!

1) Yes it will enter sleep mode

2) You'd need a seperate adaptor such as a RCA  (red and white) to female stereo.

3) Can't help you there :/

I have the sound bar on my 17 inch, and does very well in gaming.  Others go hog wild with the sound system and would have nothing less than the more expensive supper duper surround sound set up.   :smileytongue:

if i hooked the soundbar up to a standalone dvd player, would there be anyway to turn down the volume of the soundbar with a remote? (cuz like i said earlier i do not want to have to get up to adjust the volume manually)

Don't think you can turn up/down the volume with a remote on the sound bar hooked up to a dvd player, at least I cannot with my 3 year old sound bar.   You can always try it.....

Correct. The soundbar has a manual volume knob. However if your dvd player has it's own volume control (like a portable player) and a remote control than you could adjust the volume remotely. Not exactly a great setup but it can be done.
