Questions about ordering a 2007FP LCD

Question

I need to order 2 of the 2007FP LCD's today.

From the spec's list I don't see some of the information I'm looking for.

1. Is this a 16.7M color display ?

2. 6 or 8 bit Panel ?

3. What kind of panel is it ? TN, S-IPS or S-PVA ?

2007FPs use both Samsung S-PVA panels and LG.Philips S-IPS panels. Both are 8 bit.

So how do I know which panel I'm getting ?   I only see 1 part number to order.

You don't - it's a lottery:

As of today, we will not issue any official type statement regarding the revision changes. Our stance is that the "what" and "why" information will not be disclosed. This also applies to what panels are installed. Our point of view is a 2407 is a 2407, regardless of the panel.
