Repeated "bad" flat panel monitors (dell)
I am having a problem with repeated "bad" dell flat panel monitors. Green power indicator flashes, screen is blank ...and this is when attached to the computer, or not. I am on my fourth since 9/04. Warranty covers, and I get replacements. I would rather a monitor that works for some length of time. Model number is E172fpb. Anyone else?

Hello,
I work at a college and this is the second flat screen in 2 months that has failed/died.
The most recent is a 15" E152FPc .
Symptom = power light (green) is on and there is no display .....
if power is turned off for 1-2 mins then on again there is a brief display of 1-2 seconds and then blank again ....
Looking for root cause or fix ...
Thanks,
GR

You should upgrade to the E177FP, it won't start doing that until after the warranty expires! Great stuff we got coming from China and Mexico!
