They could not help because there is not a Dell part number to order. When purchased NEW from Dell, the plastic cover would have shipped in the monitor box. Users Guide page 5.
From whom was the purchase made? New or refurbished?
The covers probably were present when I bought the monitors directly from Dell, but I didn't need them when I first set up the monitors; now I do need them, and I can't seem to track them down. My honesty seems to be hurting me here. I'm happy to pay a reasonable amount for them.
Concerning the monitor cable cover, we do not have a Dell part number for those because they are placed in the box by the manufacturer at the factories. Without a Dell part number, we cannot send them out.
