resolution problem 1707FP

Question

What is the natural resolution for this monitor? I have tried to add a 'clear type tuning' as I am struggling to read documents on my LCD. Fonts are unclear or blurred. I have tried a variety of settings and compared to collegues' computers and am just not sattisfied that my screen should be this way. Apart from the text there are also hazy patches on the screen. I think it is a resolution problem but I can't seem to fix it!

jupiterzen, Optimal preset resolution 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz Highest preset resolution 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz

If you are using VGA input, in the OSD try Auto Adjust and Image Settings > Pixel Clock and Phase adjustments
