Resolution, Won't Change

Question

Hello,   Currently, my Desktop resolution is at 640x480 -- making everything (windows, text, toolbar, ect.,) very large. When I go to: right click > properties > settings and attempt to move the little arrow up, to make it the propper desktop resolution -- it refuses to move. I have tried restarting, and turning off my computer -- and it still doesn't work.   It's impossible for me to do anything when everything is this big. What can I do to fix this problem?   Thanks.

Uninstall and than reinstall the video card driver, and than go back into Display Properties to reset the resolution.  The driver might be corrupted and just needs to be installed again.  Make sure you have the driver handy for that video card.  You didn't do anything to the system did you to cause this to happen ?

Well, I fixed it by browsing other topics. And the reason for this was the fact I reinstalled Windows XP.
