"Ripples" in 2405FPW screen?
Hi all,
I just got and set up my new 2405FPW monitor. For the most part I really love it, but I have noticed that it seems to display vertical "ripples" or "waves" when the screen is displaying a large solid area of color.
It is not visible with a white background, nor with black. But on a dark gray background you can see these ripples clearly. They look like alternate bands of slightly darker and lighter gray.
Is this normal? If so, it's pretty disappointing. Or is there something wrong with the monitor?
Thanks.

ixdd,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Here are some things to try and resolve the ripple on your screen.

It seems to actually have gone away on its own.... strange but I am not complaining. :)
