RX 5700 XT, input timing not supported
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1080, 60 Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications. Swapped out with a VGA to HDMI adapter, and I'm still receiving the same message. The problem with Windows 11 is that you can't adjust settings to the specific monitor because it doesn't recognize the monitor until it's in a condition that is recognizable. The message is actually coming from the Dell firmware.

It sounds like the issue may be related to the refresh rate or resolution that the graphics card is outputting to the monitor, rather than the type of cable being used. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Boot your computer into safe mode: Restart your computer and press F8 to enter the boot menu. Select "Safe Mode" and see if you are able to get a signal to the monitor. If you are able to get a signal in safe mode, try changing the display settings to a lower resolution and refresh rate that is supported by the monitor.
Try a different connection type: If your graphics card has multiple outputs, try connecting to a different one. For example, if you are currently using HDMI, try using DisplayPort or DVI.
Check your graphics card settings: Open your graphics card control panel (such as AMD Radeon Settings or Nvidia Control Panel) and check the display settings. Make sure the resolution and refresh rate are set to values that are supported by your monitor.
Check your monitor settings: If your monitor has settings for input timing or refresh rate, check to make sure they are set correctly. You may need to consult the monitor manual for guidance.
Update your graphics card drivers: Make sure you have the latest graphics card drivers installed. You can usually download them from the manufacturer's website.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be worth visiting a technician for further assistance.
