S2340T, Windows 10, compatibility? #3
Just curious if Dell is going to update the software/firmware for the S2340T Touch screen so it can be used for Hello sign in? It also needs better compatibility with Windows 10. It usually causes program and screen malfunction after having been to sleep. This monitor is too expensive not to have any updates for it. A lifetime of 2 years followed by incompatibility with a new OS is unacceptable. Dell, are you going to do anything about this?

We can see on the S2340T driver site that Windows 10 was never tested/validated. So in answer to your question, no, Dell is not going to provide Windows 10 drivers or support.

I have a Dell XPS 8500 with the Dell S2340T monitor. With the current driver the monitor has lost its touchscreen. The problem is in the computer chipset driver, when will Dell update this to work with Windows 10?

The 2012 XPS 8500 was never validated with Windows 10.
Dell is not going to update the Intel H77 chipset driver. You should access the Intel site and see if they have a Windows 10 driver for the Intel H77 chipset. Even then, we cannot know if this will work.

I have a Dell XPS12 and the S2340T. Like the other posters here I just upgraded to Windows 10 as MS would not fully support an issue I was having due to W8. Not to sound like a broken record but is there a new set of drivers that will make the touch screen functionality work? Spent a lot of money on this monitor and now I just have a really basic 23" screen. Dell really letting folks down if not able to keep up w their OS.
thanks in advance, JM.

Unfortunately, no, as stated, we never tested/validated this 2013 monitor in Windows 10.

Like I said before in another reply, you guys really dropped the ball. I don't think I'll ever buy another Dell product again after realizing that your attitude reflects Dell's attitude towards it's customers after the purchase. I'm pretty disappointed.

I'm sure you won't post it. It's not really marketable.
