This appeared in my Windows 10 notifications. The intel driver is current, but one suggestion was to roll back the driver if it is current. Are these people on the level or what?
To receive assistance from Dell Chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Click the DELL-Cares username. On the right, click, "Send this user a private message". Share the private S2415H Service Tag with them.
Did DDM work in the past on this PC with that S2415H?
Basically, to the best of my recollection, this all started when I found the audio was not working on my Dell S2415H Monitor. In the audio inputs and outputs tab on the Device Manager is where I located the Dell S2415H (IntelR) (display audio) driver. I mistakenly attempted to substitute the DDM for the Dell S2415H. I didn't know the DDM does not provide audio. To answer your question about the DDM, it worked like it was supposed to, but it wasn’t supposed to provide any audio output. The DDM is a generic Dell S2415H that will not provide any sound. Once I uninstalled the DDM and installed the correct Dell S2415H, the sound on the monitor was working again.

Did DDM work in the past on this PC with that S2415H?
If yes, what version of DDM were you using then to now? See the versions in the
"FAQ DDM (Dell Display Manager)".
If yes, did you do any Windows 10 updates just prior to the issue appearing?
If yes, did you change the video cable and ports used from when working and now not working?
