* Have you tested the other S2419H HDMI in port?
* Have you tested with S2419H Response Time set to Super Fast, then Fast, then Normal?
* Have you tested this S2419H on another PC in all three Response Time modes replicating the issue?

The only way to know if this is "working as designed" is to get an exchange in there to test. If both act the same, return the replacement. But, the original must be registered in your name before any exchange can be setup.

Thanks for responding, Chris.

Right, did some more testing as requested.

Changed response time from normal-fast-super fast and back to super fast-fast-normal. This temporarily affected the shifting, but only for a very short time. In addition, with faster response time there was more rapid flickering between reddish-greenish, also clearly visible on the default Win10 wallpaper blue color flickering. Not to mention to progressively worsening overshoot halos.

Switched to HDMI2. At first the monitor couldn't display any signal (turned computer and monitor off). After switching to DVI-HDMI cable signal did appear. However, switching to HDMI2 had no effect at all regarding the shifts - including the three response time choices.

Then i plugged the monitor in a laptop with AMD's old HD7340 (E2 APU) following the same guidelines. Sadly, changing to the other brand had no effect, and the shifting was again visible. Took video footage of this as well. Tested with the bundled HDMI cable and a third party cable - no difference between those two.

I appreciate the help and gesture, but would rather just take this back to the store I bought it from. There's a reason why I buy some electronics only from certain stores - their return policy.

The risk of receiving a unit free of this anomaly, but plagued with other potential LCD issues is just too high, like the case with my first S2419H was.

Still, at least you now know a bizarre oddity like this exists (like said, I've never seen any other display doing something like this), and perhaps one day engineers will correct it.

Anyway, thanks for helping out.
