S2716DG, horizontal lines, screen flickering, #3

I started noticing this on an identical S2716DG I bought used. I'm not sure about whether it still has a warranty, but I was hoping for some troubleshooting tips.

S2716DG warranty end date February 20, 2021.

All Nvidia G-Sync monitors using the AUO (AU Optronics) panel have this intermittent "out of sync" problem. The result could show =
- glitch line on side of screen
- screen flicker
- vertical pixelation
- blurry line

This is due to a Nvidia G-Sync hardware design limitation and not fixable via a monitor exchange, monitor firmware update, or monitor driver. We and other Nvidia G-Sync monitor vendors have reported the issues to Nvidia. All further communication should be directed to Nvidia on their Forum so that Nvidia can see the number of users who have this intermittent "out of sync" problem. In your post out there, you should list the monitor model, Nvidia video card, Nvidia video card driver, operating system, etc.

User comments =
"I dropped down my Nvidia driver from 388.00 to Version 382.53! I'm happy it is now fixed but I'm not getting the optimization updates from the newer drivers!"
"I also went back to that older driver yesterday to fix gears and G-SYNC in general and yes it does function better than the latest drivers."

This is not an adequate answer to the hardware issue on my Dell monitor. Dell is the manufacturer. I am not directed to a factory in Iowa if I have an issue with a component in my Ford vehicle. Ford is the company I have a discussion with in that scenario. This scenario is analogous. I do not mean to be rude in this statement, but I have 4 of these monitors, and only 1 is experiencing this issue. That means the hardware has a flaw in that particular monitor. Also, it has nothing to to with my video card, as the lines occur with no signal to the monitor (no video cables attached) on the monitor UI menu.
