S2719DGF, vertical scan lines, pixel inversion?

Hi!

First of all excuse my bad English. I bought a S2719DGF about one month ago. It's overall a good monitor for the price, but I've a problem. I noticed that my panel has vertical scan lines (pixel inversion)? I recognize them not on static images, but on movies or games, when the eyes follow a point moving on the screen, in the area around the moving point the eyes will catch the scan lines. If I use the monitor at 60Hz, the phenomenon is way more evident (even on desktop and office use). I tried three different DP cables, two HDMI, Freesync ON and OFF, and even changed the source (another PC): no difference. I can barely see the scan lines even with the built-in self test (on the gray screen, if I move rapidly my eyes from left to right and vice versa I can recognize the vertical scan lines appear on the screen). Well, it's hard for me trying to explain this phenomenon and is also very difficult to make a photo. I tried to make a photo focusing on a moving object (pendulum demo) and perhaps I was able to partly catch the effect.

So the question is: is this panel's behavior normal? All S2719DGF have this strange "defect"? Is there a way to mitigate/correct it? P.S, email Italian support was inadeguate (they simply didn't understand the problem) Thanks!

* Did you purchase this S2719DGF directly from Dell Italy?
* For my internal notes, click my name and private message me the S2719DGF service tag number and 20 digit serial number

* Post pictures of the stand alone Built-in Diagnostics showing the issue.

* On this PC:
- What specific AMD FreeSync video card are you testing on?
- What AMD FreeSync driver version?
- What operating system?

1. Yes

2. I send you the data with a PM

3. Is not easy at all to replicate the problem in a photo... the effect will appear only when you move the eyes from a point to another (or if you follow a moving object on the screen)... If you stand still on a uniform background picture and don't move the eyes, the "pattern" doesn't appear... (it so difficult for me to explain this... even in my language!). However I try to link you a photo (I made a movie with my smartphone, moving it from right to left and vice-versa... this is a frame. The effect appears because the smartphone is MOVING!... When it is stopped, the background is perfectly uniform.

4. This is NOT related to Freesync... I have a nvidia card and the problem appears even if I use the ""compatibility"" with Gsync feature but also when I disable ALL adaptive sync options (from the monitor and from the card). However... I tested it on a PC with geforce 1080ti and win 10 and also on a laptop with an intel gpu (no adaptive sync) and win 10

Thank you!
