You should reset the S2721DS to Factory defaults in the Menu- Others. Then reset the Nvidia to defaults. If using at defaults does not help, consider a different monitor that is Nvidia -G-Sync compatible.
Thanks for the response Chris. I realize G-SYNC is not supported by the S2721DS. When I reset the 'NVIDIA Control Panel' back to default 3D settings, it actually enables G-SYNC! I have reset the monitor settings back to Factory Default, and tried with G-SYNC on and off. Same issue.
