S3221QS, PBP using same source for both inputs
Hi! I need to work with two monitors at the same time, both of them connected to my laptop. I wanted to be sure before buying this monitor that by using PBP my laptop would be able to recognize each side of the monitor as a different monitors.

Your question is confusing. A monitor PBP (Picture by Picture) is designed for usage with two PC connected to single monitor using two video in ports on the single monitor.
In your case of two monitors connected to a single PC, you would not use PBP. Monitor 1 set as Primary and monitor 2 set as Extended.

Hi, thanks for your answer, I know it's a little confusing. In this photo, there is a radiology station, it usually has a low resolution monitor and two high resolution monitors. The application, by recognizing the other two monitors, displays two separate windows, with one tool bar for each monitor, which is more comfy than having only one big monitor splitted. So I'm in the struggle of buying 2 pivotable qhd monitors and connecting to my laptop, which would be the low resolution monitor, or buying this Dell monitor and use 2 cables, for example a DP and a HDMI, to connect both to my laptop. I know the idea of pbp is for using two different video sources, but I was wondering if it can be used this way, or otherwise I'll need to buy 2 24' QHD monitors.
