Screen resolution problem...PLEASE HELP!!!!
hi i have a dimension 2400 and i just installed a fresh copy of windows on my system. When it was done my taskbar and icons were very large and a message came up sayin that my resolution was set very low. when i clicked to change it, it does not allow me to change it. the current setting is 640x480 with medium 16- bit color. can someone please help me with this issue ASAP

This is an easy one. When you loaded Windows it loded the standard graghics video driver. You need to use you resorce CD and load the correct driver for your video card. It should have an arrow next to it indicating the actual card that is in your machine. After you load the correct driver it will be able to be adjusted in the display section of control panel under the settings tab.
