yes that helped the size, but the coloring became all distorted....last time they had me download some sort of video driver....i do not know the link they had me go to....does this make sense to you? thx
i have not downloaded the driver since i had to reinstall windows....i do not have or know the link support gave me to go to in order to download last time....do you know what it is so that i can download the driver or card or whatever i downloaded last time....thx

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Go into the Display Properies under the Settings tab and change the resolution to maybe 1024x768 or higher to see if that will help.

Yes, when you dowloaded and installed the video card driver it put the resolution at its lowest setting which would make everything look bigger.
