ST2220L

Does anyone have a Dell ST2220L monitor yet?  I can't find much in the way of reviews of it.

Does it have a matte or a glossy screen?

Would I be able to attach the soundbar from my Dell 5650 5.1 speaker system to it (currently used with my Dell 1704FPT monitor), or would I need to get a new soundbar?

Any comments on this monitor would be great to hear!

All the manual says is Faceplate coating = Antiglare with hard-coating 3H. From that I cannot tell if it is glossy or matte? The monitor has the standard Dell Soundbar mounting brackets but it does not have the Soundbar power jack. So your Soundbar must have its own power adapter.

Hi, thanks for your reply.  If you can see reflections in it, it's glossy.  I can't find any reviews or information that mentions whether this is the case or not.

My soundbar is part of a 5.1 speaker system and gets it's power from the subwoofer, so that's not a problem.  It's quite old, though, so I'm not sure if the mounting bracket standard has changed and I will require a new one?  Here it is:

Does the ST2220L have the same mounting bracket as the 1704FPT my soundbar is currently connected to?

That looks like it is the same brackets as the other Sound Bars.

I now have the ST2220L monitor and can confirm that the soundbar bracket hasn't changed - my old soundbar fits perfectly.

It looks like a matte screen to me in that I can't see any reflections in it whatsoever (and it's in a location where I've had problems with reflections on other monitors).

It's a really nice monitor and I wish I hadn't waited so long to get it now!
