u2410 problem outside of Windows
Hi
I am connecting my U2410 to my PC via Displayport and I have a problem when I run the monitor outside of Windows. When I run a long diagnostic process in BIOS, I switch the power off using the power button. When I turn it on, the monitor does not recognise the PC signal (despite pressing keys and mouse) and goes into powersave mode. Is there any way to remedy this?
Regards

jossman, take a look at this thread
http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19343365.aspx
It is discussing a similar power issue when using the Display Port. You are getting powersave mode which is more than us.
EDIT: After browsing a few more pages of posts in the forums, I came across the this thread which discusses a firmware upgrade to A02 which one of the problems it resolves is
- Modify and standardize the DisplayPort power save sleep/wake scheme
The firmware didn't work for my problem but it might help out you.
Good luck
