I've not tested W10... so I can't help there. There must be some log files un c:\Users\YOURUSER\Roaming\Dell or something similar ("Local" instead of "Roaming"). I do not know if W10 changed user configuration folders.
"Connection.log" should show issues with serial number reading (DDC/CI & USB). This kind of serial number reading issues are the main culprit of "my DCCS is not working".
Did you attempt to install the U2413 Windows 8 driver via compatibility mode into Windows 10 to change the Device Manager Generic PnP Monitor to U2413?
We have told them to remove non-supported monitors from their supported list on their software page. The list I presented in my earlier post are the only monitors which will receive Windows 10 validation.
"Here is the problem, the U2413 was only validated by Dell with Vista/7/8. There was never a monitor INF/ICM/CAT released for 8.1 and 10. According to this list of monitors, there will not be one."
What does it mean? Does it mean that itf I move to Win10 I should use DCCS 1.5.3 like I'm doing right now and it WILL work on W10? Or does it mean that "read serial no. trick on DDC/CI & USB" will NOT work in W10 for ALL versions of DCCS?
Dell guys.. you're selling that monitor RIGHT NOW both on your web store and in resellers... BOTH OF THEM, so this is not a discontinued product. Listed price fro U2413 is 785€ in dell store (EU)... for a monitor with overshoot issues, poor calibration software and no "usable" uniformity compensation... That's +78% more exprensive than when I bought it form a reseller.
And now...no Win10 HW calibration????
Are you kidding? I could buy an Eizo CS240 for that money! Even move to a NEC Multisync PA242W for +100€ with full hardware support on all OSes (even Linux!) and arbitrary profile emulation in its LUT3D.
No reason to buy this broken toy anymore.

Did you try DCCS 1.5.3 under W10? DCCS full unistall (check for XRD manager and uninstall it too), reboot, then install 1.5.3 + Windows .NET framework runtime updates (windows update), then reboot.

After updating to Windows 10, did you uninstall the X-Rite software, reboot the computer, then reinstall the X-Rite software?

It just won't offer the possibility to store hardware calibration (LUT) in CAL1 or CAL 2 as usual.
It doesn't recognise my monitor as U2413, but as DELF074.
Inspired in the post below, I have modified the "displayTechTypes.xml", but Calibration Solution still doesn't perform as usual.

Do we have an update on this subject? I am also waiting it to be solved before upgrading, and I think that may be others in the same situation...
An updated driver from Dell would be the way to go, BTW (or at least confirmation that they are working on it).

Updated. The U2413 does support Windows 10.

The DUCCS offered on the driver page show that Windows 10 is supported.

So...?
Is it something that X-Rite will address soon?

U2413 is an expensive Dell hardware that forced me to purchase an expensive X-Rite hardware (i7 Display Pro) to be fully functional.
I hope Dell to push X-Rite a little in this metter...
