U2414H randomly turning on and off

Hello,

I bought my U2414H (rev. A00) in March 2014 and after a few days it started randomly turning itself off, sometimes every few hours. Sometimes days would pass without it turning off but most of the time the monitor turned off during the night, while in stand-by. I know that this is a common problem with the U2414H and I want to know if Dell has figured out a solution to this problem other than returning the monitor. I really like the picture on this unit and I wouldn't like returning it, especially knowing that I will get a refurbished one.

I cannot speak to other countries stock. I know that in the USA, all A01 stock (cut in date 3/18/2014) should be fixed for this issue. You will need to contact Dell Customer Service for your country to arrange a monitor exchange. Provide to them the following data =
Email Address:
Name:
Shipping Address:
Phone number:
Monitor Order number:
Monitor 20 digit alphanumeric serial number:
Issue: Hardware defect causes Power/Black Screen/Switch off issues
Policy: A new exchange will be issued for users still inside the first 30 days from the invoice date. A used/refurbished exchange will be issued for users outside of the first 30 days from the invoice date

To receive the A01, you must get an exchange. From what country was the purchase made?
