U2415 Bad uniformity
I just purchased a new U2415 monitor from a 3rd party reseller. It has bad backlight uniformity - very noticeable and bothersome darkness on the left 2" or so of the screen all the way down the side, but worst at the top left hand corner. What can be done about this?

It was a new sealed item, manufactured 8/2014.

You did not post any pictures, but it may well be in manufacturer specifications. Return it to the reseller. We cannot know if they sold it and had it returned to them multiple times. Then, purchase a new one directly from Dell. This way you will receive a Dell warranty tied to your Dell order number.

Use the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) -Others -Factory Reset. Take some pictures of the display in standard office lighting while running the Built-in Diagnostics, page 58.
