U2415, blinking on and off problem

Hi,

I just bought my new Dell U2415 monitor. I have conected it with the provided mDP cable. Randomly the screen stars blinking on and off. If you check in different forums online loads of costumers have the same problem.

I'm using Windows 10 and Linux Mint 18. In both systems I have the same issue. I have installed the latest drivers and no luck.

Could you please help or advise?

The U2415 ships with DP 1.2 Disabled in the OSD (On Screen Display). Enable it to see if it fixes the issue.

* Press the Menu button (3rd from left) to open the OSD
* Go to Others -Factory Reset -Reset All Settings
* Go back to Display
* Change DisplayPort 1.2 to Enable
* Exit the OSD
* Retest
